AS4F AutoStep Facility unit. -Factory-installed on new LiteGait. -Retrofit an existing LiteGait (AS4F & ASRB) -Update and replace older AutoStep model (AS4F) Includes mounting hardware and two sets of AutoStep soft goods package ASSP. (2 sets of 2 pairs of different tensioned elastic straps, 2 pairs of foot & ankle straps.) to add/retrofit to an existing LiteGait order AS4F & ASRB Symmetry in Motion, AutoStep facilitates foot clearance and symmetric steps and reduces the burden of gait facilitation for both pediatric and adult patients. Provides a cue in terminal stance to help forward the leg in swing. Adjustable elastic band attached to the patient's feet is stretched as the stance limb moves back, and shortens to bring the unloaded limb forward in swing. AutoStep is able to promote an increased step length as well as facilitating lower extremity advancement and foot clearance. It also can be used as a tool to improve dissociation of the lower extremities and provide a dynamic/active stretch to the legs. Most importantly with the tension bands attached to the feet and facilitating foot clearance and advancement, it gives the therapist the freedom to facilitate increased weight shifting, hip extension, stability in stance, and much more, all while maintaining proper body mechanics. Easily adjust the step length to match your patient's needs!
