How to enhance the mobility of a patient who presents with AKA and co-morbidities. When working with patients who have undergone a lower extremity amputation, we as therapists provide significant education and training regarding residual limb care, pre-prosthetic training, functional mobility, DME, home modifications, etc. The addition of co-morbidities can add to the challenge while time constraints often require us to focus on the very basics. With utilization of LiteGait during therapy sessions, therapists have a great tool to not only address basics but enhance functional mobility and treatment sessions.
