Dr. Lorene Cobb currently serves as the Director of Clinical Education for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Seton Hall University. She has earned her Doctorate in Education from Maryville University in August 2020, and her Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton University in May of 2016. Lorene holds a master's degree in health sciences with a concentration in Motor Learning and Control from Seton Hall University, and a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from Russell Sage College. Lorene is an American Board-Certified Pediatric Specialist and holds a Neurodevelopmental Certification in Pediatrics from the NDTA. She has been a practicing physical therapist specializing in the management of complex pediatric and adult patients with neurological dysfunction for over 30 years. Lorene has provided many continuing education courses in the tri-state area, has served as a clinical supervisor, private practice owner, administrator, Director of Clinical Education at Stockton University before assuming her current position at Seton Hall University.Lorene has completed peer-reviewed presentations at both the local and national level. Her latest publication on physical therapy management of adolescents with orthopedic, oncological disease processes has led to her position as a consultant reviewer for the journal Rehabilitation Oncology. Lorene is currently engaged in research on interprofessional clinical education experiences and leadership development in entry level physical therapy students with an article currently in review for publication.
