Karen Good, PT, OCS, PCS Senior PT at the Phelps Center for Cerebral Palsy and Related disorders at Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore MD. She has an MS in Neuroscience from UC Irvine and worked at Washington University in St. Louis, studying spinal cord injury and peripheral nerve damage. In 1998 she earned an M.S. in Physical Therapy from Washington University. Karen became board-certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (O.C.S.). and Pediatric Clinical Specialist (P.C.S.) She has worked on rehabilitation of patients with neurological and spinal cord injuries as well as children with Cerebral Palsy in St. Louis and Baltimore for 25 years. Her clinical interests include: analysis of gait and prescribing therapeutic interventions to improve walking. She is also skilled in functional electrical stimulation, orthotic intervention, and aquatic therapy. She is active in clinical education on the topics of multidisciplinary spasticity management, body weight-supported treadmill therapy and functional electrical stimulation
