Dr. Jason E. Cook, DPT, PhD, is a core faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy at Baylor University. Dr. Cook is a pediatric certified specialist and is a clinician at Blank Children's Hospital. He earned his bachelor's degree from Drake University, his master's and doctoral degrees in physical therapy from Des Moines University, and his PhD at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He teaches and focuses his clinical care in the areas of neurologic and pediatric physical therapy. His area of research is in pain, distress, and well-being in individuals with cerebral palsy. He has served on the Committee of Content Experts and the Pediatric Specialty Council of the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He is also on the Board of Directors for the APTA Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy
