GKMini Treadmill displays E17 error

Some users are receiving an E17 error on their treadmills, which indicates the motor is requiring more current than it was designed to use.

Step-by-step troubleshooting:

1. Confirm nothing is jammed in the roller

    • It should be possible to move the belt with your hand when the motor is off – confirm this is possible. If the roller will not turn by hand, check for blockages

2. Belt has too much friction

    • Lubricate the belt, using the instructions in the manual:

3. Belt is too tight

    • After applying lubricant, adjust the walking belt tension only as far as needed for it to not slip during use. Be careful not to overtighten since this may cause the E17 error.

4. Contact Support

    • If none of these steps resolve the issue and the E17 error persists, contact support, since the motor will likely need to be replaced.
